Jackson Heights is a vibrant and architecturally rich neighborhood located in the northwestern section of the New York City borough of Queens, bordered by Elmhurst, East Elmhurst, Woodside, and Corona.

Jackson Heights, a vibrant and internationally recognized neighborhood in New York City, is renowned for its incredible cultural diversity, historic apartment buildings, lively commercial corridors, and School District 30. The area boasts a diverse housing mix, including landmark prewar cooperative buildings, garden apartments, brick multifamily residences, condominiums, attached homes, and single-family houses. Much of Jackson Heights was meticulously planned in the early 20th century, resulting in its distinctive prewar architecture, landscaped interior courtyards, and tree-lined streets.

Jackson Heights is celebrated for its multicultural atmosphere and world-renowned culinary scene. Roosevelt Avenue, Northern Boulevard, and 37th Avenue are lined with restaurants, cafes, bakeries, markets, and small businesses representing cultures from around the world, particularly South Asian, Latin American, Tibetan, Nepali, and East Asian communities. The neighborhood is widely regarded as one of the best destinations in New York City for authentic international cuisine and specialty shopping.

The neighborhood is also home to the Jackson Heights Historic District, one of the largest in Queens, recognized for its beautifully preserved cooperative buildings and unique garden-apartment design. Travers Park serves as a central gathering place for the community and hosts greenmarkets, recreational activities, and local events throughout the year. Residents also enjoy nearby access to Flushing Meadows Corona Park and other recreational facilities throughout Queens.

Jackson Heights offers excellent transportation and accessibility throughout New York City.
